Non NHS Services

Some services provided are not covered under our contract with the NHS and therefore attract charges. Examples include the following:

• Medicals for pre-employment, sports and driving requirements (HGV, PSV etc.)
• Insurance claim forms
• Prescriptions for taking medication abroad
• Private sick notes
• Vaccination certificates

The fees charged are based on the British Medical Association (BMA) suggested scales and our reception staff will be happy to advise you about them along with appointment availability.

Ear wax removal is no longer available on the NHS but we do still offer the treatment as a private service.

If you feel that you have wax that needs removing please book an appointment with our Healthcare Assistant for a free initial consultation. They may be able to remove the wax there and then or you may have to treat the ear with oil for a number of days before full removal can take place.

The charge for this service is £25 per ear.
